  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

  4. Crumble the cooked bacon and add it back to the skillet with the onions and garlic.

  5. Stir in chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, Sriracha sauce, BBQ sauce, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar.

  6. Simmer the mixture on low heat until it thickens into a jam-like consistency, about 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Once done, set aside.

Prepare Jerold's Burger Sauce

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine DUKES Mayo, sweet relish, yellow mustard, adobo sauce, apple cider vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and finely chopped sweet onion. Mix well and set aside.

Cooking the Burgers

  1. Divide the ground beef into equal portions and form them into patties. Season each patty generously with AB’s Burger Rub or your preferred seasoning.

  2. Preheat a flat-top griddle over medium-high heat.

  3. Place the patties on the griddle and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.

  4. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.

Assemble the Burgers

  1. Toast the hamburger buns on the griddle until lightly golden. Optionally, spread some of the Jerold’s Burger Sauce on the bottom bun.

  2. Spread a generous amount of bacon jam on top of the sauce and place the cooked patties with melted cheese on top of the bacon jam.

  3. Add more Jerold’s Burger Sauce and bacon jam on top of the patties.

  4. Spread a layer of peanut butter on the top bun.

  5. Finally, assemble the burger by placing the peanut butter side of the top bun on top of the patties.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet and savory goodness!

Note

  • Adjust the amount of Sriracha sauce in the bacon jam according to your desired level of spiciness.
  • If you don’t have a flat top griddle, you can use a regular skillet or grill to cook the patties.
  • Feel free to customize the burger by adding lettuce, tomato, or any other toppings you prefer.
  • This recipe yields a sweet and savory flavor profile, thanks to the combination of bacon jam, peanut butter, and Jerold’s Burger Sauce.
