  1. Start by heating 105 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit of milk in the microwave. Use a thermometer to ensure the right temperature. Add active dry yeast to the warm milk and let it froth. This shows that the yeast is activated and ready to use.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, salt, and eggs. Mix these ingredients thoroughly. Switch to a dough hook attachment if you have a stand mixer. Gradually add flour to the mixture, allowing it to knead until it forms a smooth, elastic dough. Prepare a greased bowl and place the dough in it. Cover with a clean cloth and let it double in size for about an hour.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface to prevent sticking. Roll out the dough into a rectangle that's about a quarter-inch thick. Spread softened butter evenly over the dough. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture all over the butter.

  4. Roll the dough tightly, starting from the longer side of the rectangle. Use dental floss or unflavored dental tape to cut the rolls. This ensures a clean cut without squishing the dough. Place the cut rolls into a greased baking dish, leaving space for them to expand.

  5. Let the rolls rest for about 30 minutes to allow them to rise again.

  6. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the rolls for approximately 20 minutes or until they are golden brown and fully cooked.

  7. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, butter, salt, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. When the rolls are done baking, immediately drizzle the icing over the hot rolls so it melts and drips down.

  8. Serve your freshly baked Cinnabon cinnamon rolls with a glass of cold milk!
