Ingredients

  • For the Wings:
  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • For the Honey Sriracha Sauce:
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 2 tsp cooking oil
  • 4 tbsp sriracha sauce or your preferred hot chili sauce
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels. This helps ensure crispiness.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and 1 teaspoon cooking oil.
  • Toss the wings in the seasoning mix until evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
  • Air fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through (after 10 minutes), until golden brown and crispy.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add 2 teaspoons of oil.
  • Sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add sriracha sauce, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and water.
  • Stir and simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
  • Transfer cooked wings to a large bowl.
  • Pour the warm honey sriracha sauce over the wings and toss to coat thoroughly.
  • Serve immediately. Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
