Ingredients

  • 2 can cut green beans, drained
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 5-6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the drained green beans in the bottom of a casserole dish and set them aside.
  • In a skillet, cook the diced onion and chopped bacon over medium-high heat until the bacon is crisp. Make sure to stir occasionally to prevent burning. Once the bacon is crisp, drain most of the fat from the skillet.
  • Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar into the skillet with the bacon and onions. Simmer the mixture for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Pour the sauce over the green beans in the casserole dish. Gently mix to ensure the green beans are evenly coated with the sauce. Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the green beans are heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
  • Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious BBQ Green Beans alongside your favorite BBQ dishes!
