In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, mustard, chopped onion or shallot, bread crumbs, dried parsley, dried garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
In a separate bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, ground paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.
Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
