Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients
  

  • 2 English muffins, split and toasted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, American, or Swiss)
  • 2 sausage patties
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage patties until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add a little butter. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your liking. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Just before the eggs are done, place a slice of cheese on each egg. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt.
  • Take a toasted English muffin half and place a cheesy egg on the bottom. Top with a cooked sausage patty. Place the other half of the English muffin on top to create a delightful sandwich.
  • Serve your breakfast sandwich warm, and revel in the gooey cheese, savory sausage, and perfectly cooked eggs.
