- 1 turkey breast 2 to 8 pounds, preferably bone-in
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon white pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 tablespoons salted butter softened
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place turkey breast in a roasting pan or 9x13-inch dish.
In a small bowl, mix paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, thyme, black pepper, white pepper, and cayenne.
Mash softened butter and olive oil together with the seasoning blend to form a paste.
Gently loosen the turkey skin. Spread half the butter mixture under the skin and rub the remaining half over the top.
Roast for 20 minutes per pound, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F in the thickest part.
Remove from oven, tent with foil, and rest for 15 minutes until temperature rises to 165°F. Slice and serve.
