Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast 2 to 8 pounds, preferably bone-in
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place turkey breast in a roasting pan or 9x13-inch dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, thyme, black pepper, white pepper, and cayenne.
  • Mash softened butter and olive oil together with the seasoning blend to form a paste.
  • Gently loosen the turkey skin. Spread half the butter mixture under the skin and rub the remaining half over the top.
  • Roast for 20 minutes per pound, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F in the thickest part.
  • Remove from oven, tent with foil, and rest for 15 minutes until temperature rises to 165°F. Slice and serve.
