Ingredients

  • For the Cheeseburger Filling:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • For Wrapping:
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • Water for sealing
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Sauté Aromatics: In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until onions are translucent.
  • Cook Ground Beef: Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook and crumble until no longer pink, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Season: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add Cheese: Remove from heat. Let the beef mixture cool slightly, then fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Assemble Egg Rolls: Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Wet the edges with water. Add a spoonful of filling to the center. Fold bottom corner up over the filling, then fold in sides and roll tightly. Seal the top edge with more water.
  • Fry: Heat oil in a clean skillet over medium-high heat. Fry egg rolls 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Drain & Serve: Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
