Cilantro Lime Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 3/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup green onion
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • If you have a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat.

  • Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  • Grill the avocado halves on the preheated grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until grill marks appear. Remove and let them cool.
  • In a blender or food processor, combine Greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, extra virgin olive oil, water, grilled avocado, fresh cilantro, garlic clove, and green onion.

  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • If the sauce is too thick, you can add more water until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the salt and other seasonings if needed.
  • Use it as a dipping sauce for grilled meats, vegetables, or as a flavorful dressing for salads.
