Ingredients

  • 2 cup (4 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Leave your butter out at room temperature until it’s soft enough to mix easily. This makes the blending process smooth and ensures all those flavors meld together perfectly.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, onion powder, dried oregano, dried parsley, kosher salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until everything is well incorporated. You can also use a food processor for a smoother, more uniform consistency.
  • For a compound butter, scoop the mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap. Roll it into a log, pressing and shaping as you go. Twist the ends to seal it up tight. Refrigerate until firm, about 1-2 hours.
  • You can use the Creole Butter right away or store it for later. If making a butter dip, simply melt in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring in between.
