Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • cup honey
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce divided

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker.
  • Mix brown sugar, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken.
  • Drizzle honey over the drumsticks.
  • Pour 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce over chicken, reserving ½ cup for later.
  • Cover and cook on LOW 5–6 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
  • Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Transfer chicken to baking sheet and brush with remaining BBQ sauce.
  • Broil for 2–3 minutes, watching closely until caramelized.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
