- 3 pounds chicken drumsticks
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 cups BBQ sauce divided
Place chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker.
Mix brown sugar, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl. Sprinkle over chicken.
Drizzle honey over the drumsticks.
Pour 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce over chicken, reserving ½ cup for later.
Cover and cook on LOW 5–6 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
Transfer chicken to baking sheet and brush with remaining BBQ sauce.
Broil for 2–3 minutes, watching closely until caramelized.
