Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions

  • Set up a dredging station with seasoned flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs. Coat each shrimp in flour, then egg, then panko, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat oil to 350°F and fry shrimp in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels. Stir together sauce ingredients and serve with shrimp drizzled or on the side.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha for heat preference
  • Best served fresh for maximum crispiness
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer to maintain texture
