Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 18 ounces peach preserves
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 10- pound spiral-sliced bone-in ham
  • Hot Honey Seasoning Quick Mix
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried honey powder optional

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together honey, peach preserves, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer, then remove from heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine all Hot Honey Seasoning ingredients.
  • Sprinkle Method (bolder crust): Place the ham in the slow cooker and lightly sprinkle 1–2 teaspoons of the Hot Honey Seasoning over the surface and between slices.
  • Blend Method (smoother heat): Whisk 1–2 teaspoons of the Hot Honey Seasoning directly into the warm glaze.
  • Pour about half of the glaze over the ham (whether seasoned or not). Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours, until heated through and tender.
  • Transfer the ham to a serving platter. Reheat remaining glaze on low and spoon it over the ham.
  • Optional: Caramelized Finish
  • Place the ham on a foil-lined sheet and broil 2–3 minutes until the glaze bubbles and lightly darkens. Watch closely.
