- 1 cup honey
- 18 ounces peach preserves
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 10- pound spiral-sliced bone-in ham
- Hot Honey Seasoning Quick Mix
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried honey powder optional
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together honey, peach preserves, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and vinegar. Bring to a gentle simmer, then remove from heat.
In a small bowl, combine all Hot Honey Seasoning ingredients.
Sprinkle Method (bolder crust): Place the ham in the slow cooker and lightly sprinkle 1–2 teaspoons of the Hot Honey Seasoning over the surface and between slices.
Blend Method (smoother heat): Whisk 1–2 teaspoons of the Hot Honey Seasoning directly into the warm glaze.
Pour about half of the glaze over the ham (whether seasoned or not). Cover and cook on LOW for about 4 hours, until heated through and tender.
Transfer the ham to a serving platter. Reheat remaining glaze on low and spoon it over the ham.
Optional: Caramelized Finish
Place the ham on a foil-lined sheet and broil 2–3 minutes until the glaze bubbles and lightly darkens. Watch closely.
