- ½ cup honey
- ¾ teaspoon red chili flakes
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon lemon zest optional
Combine the honey, chili flakes, chili powder, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring gently, until the honey becomes warm and fluid. Do not boil.
Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool slightly. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then transfer to a clean airtight glass container.

Store for up to 2 weeks at room temperature
