Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Milk or Heavy Cream
  • 4 oz Bittersweet Chocolate
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Peppermint Extract
  • Whipped Cream, Marshmallows, Candy Canes Optional

  • In a saucepan over low heat, warm up 2 cups of milk or heavy cream until it simmers slightly. Patience is key here.
  • Gradually add 4 oz of bittersweet chocolate to the warm milk, stirring consistently until it completely dissolves. Keep the heat low to avoid burning.
  • Introduce 2 tbsp. of sugar to the mix, ensuring it dissolves and enhances the sweetness.
  • Add 1 tsp. of peppermint extract for that delightful holiday flavor. Adjust to your preference.

  • Once the chocolate has melted and the mixture has slightly thickened, turn off the heat.
  • Pour this luxurious chocolate blend into your favorite mugs or jars, leaving a bit of space at the top.
  • Now, the optional garnish: Top it off with a generous swirl of whipped cream. For extra indulgence, add marshmallows and crush candy canes for a festive touch.
