1 1/2cupPizza Saucecan use marinara sauce or spaghetti sauce
8ozCream Cheesesoftened / room temp
1cupItalian Style Cheesemozzarella, ricotta etc.
12Pepperonislices cut into halves
1/2tspItalian Seasoning
Sliced Bread or Crackerstoasted baguettes or bread sticks
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with half of the shredded Italian cheese.
Mix until smooth and well combined.
Assemble the Dip:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a small casserole dish or a round pie dish.
Layer with Pizza Sauce:
Pour the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
Add Cheese and Pepperoni:
Sprinkle the remaining Italian-style cheese over the pizza sauce layer.
Arrange the halved pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the pepperoni.
Bake:
Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted, and the dip is hot throughout.
Serve:
Once the pizza dip is bubbly and golden, remove it from the oven.
Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
Serve with Dipping Options:
Serve the pizza dip with your choice of crackers, sliced Italian bread, or breadsticks.
