- 4 Chicken Thighs
- Salt & Pepper To Taste
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tbsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper adjust to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 Large Onion Sliced
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 cup Heavy/Whipping Cream
- The Level Up A Rub substitute for the special AC's seasoning
Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
Dredge the seasoned chicken in a mix of flour and The Level Up A Rub.
Brown the chicken in a skillet with olive oil until golden. Set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté sliced onions until golden.
Sprinkle any remaining seasoned flour over the onions, stirring to create a roux.
Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Season the gravy with Worcestershire sauce and bring it to a simmer.
Add heavy cream to the gravy, stirring until smooth.
Place the browned chicken back into the skillet, covering them with the luscious gravy.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
