Ingredients

For the Wings:

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Sriracha Honey Glaze:

  • 1/3 cup Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with vegetable oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.
  • Spread the seasoned wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
  • While the wings are baking, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine Sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens slightly.
  • Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the Sriracha honey glaze over the wings and toss until each wing is generously coated.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the wings for a vibrant garnish. Serve immediately and watch them disappear!
