Ingredients

  • 2–3 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp whole milk (optional)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • Optional: Bell peppers, ham, cooked bacon bits

Instructions

  • Beat the eggs with milk until smooth and slightly frothy. Melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat, then pour in the eggs. Gently push cooked edges toward the center as the eggs set.
  • Once mostly cooked, add cheese and fillings to one side, season lightly, fold the omelette, and cook until the cheese melts and eggs are tender. Serve immediately.
