Ingredients

  • 1 all-beef hot dog
  • 1 poppy seed hot dog bun
  • Yellow mustard
  • Sweet green pickle relish
  • Chopped onion
  • Tomato wedges (about 2-3 per dog)
  • Pickle spear
  • Sport peppers (2-3 per dog)
  • Celery salt

Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Reduce the heat and add the hot dog, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes until fully heated.
  • Wrap the poppy seed bun in a damp paper towel and microwave it for about 10 seconds, or Place the bun over the boiling water for about a minute to steam it.
  • Place the hot dog in the steamed poppy seed bun. Drizzle yellow mustard in a zigzag pattern over the hot dog. Add a generous spoonful of sweet green pickle relish along one side of the hot dog. Sprinkle chopped onions over the top. Tuck the tomato wedges on one side of the bun. Place the pickle spear on the opposite side of the tomato wedges. Add 2-3 sport peppers on top. Finish with a dash of celery salt.
