  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 30 drops red gel food coloring
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fried Chicken:

  • Chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, or breast)

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Preheat your waffle iron and cooking oil for frying.

  4. Pour ¾ cup of batter into the hot waffle iron and cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

  6. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  7. Dredge each chicken piece in the seasoned flour, ensuring even coating.
  8. Fry the coated chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through (15-20 minutes).
