It’s your boy AB back at it again, and today we’re diving into a game day favorite that’ll have your taste buds doing the happy dance, Jumbo Popcorn Shrimp! But hold on, we’re not stopping there. We’ve got a homemade Blackened Ranch Sauce that’s straight out of Popeyes’ dreams. So, buckle up and get ready for a flavor explosion that’s perfect for any game day feast.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Raw Shrimp (peeled, deveined, and tails removed)
  • 1 1/3 cups Flour
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Ground White Pepper
  • 2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 6 Eggs
  • Vegetable Oil (for frying)

Blackened Ranch Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Dill Weed
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 1 tbsp Blackened Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt (if required)

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp:

In a Ziploc bag, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour and Cajun seasoning to taste.

Heat oil to 350 degrees in a deep fryer or pot.
